As a Backend Engineer at Deel, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing features for our all-in-one payroll and HR platform, contributing to the transformation of how global talent connects with world-class companies.

In Short

• Collaborate in a cross-functional team with Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA professionals.
• Participate in product planning from discovery to deployment.
• Develop and enhance features, APIs, and improve products.
• Ensure exceptional, customer-centric experiences through quality engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Expertise in SQL, particularly PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of OOP and design patterns.
• Experience in designing scalable systems.
• Proven expertise in optimizing high-volume performance systems.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
