Associate Director, Strategic Finance - Remote

Overview

The Associate Director, Strategic Finance will support overall corporate strategy, including leading the long-range planning process (LRP), partnering with program leadership to provide financial analysis in support of portfolio decision making, and owning all other long-term financial analyses.

• Own and lead the process for the development of the company’s long-range plan.
• Partner with program leadership and other stakeholders to harmonize strategic financial planning.
• Lead efforts to evaluate return on investment and asset prioritization.
• Develop medium- to long-term financial plans.
• Support business development and licensing initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to complete annual audit of long-range plan.
• Lead/support ad hoc internal initiatives.
• Support portfolio management efforts related to asset valuation.
• Prepare and deliver key analysis and presentations to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience in a biotechnology or pharmaceutical company.
• Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical business.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing processes.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical & financial modeling skills.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
