Senior Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

Decentraland is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the evolution of its decentralized data infrastructure, powering the data backbone of its Blockchain and Gaming ecosystem.

In Short

• Design, build, and maintain complex ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of data services.
• Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams.
• Develop automated solutions for ingesting and transforming data.
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives to evolve data platform architecture.
• Explore innovative approaches to decentralized data.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a data engineer.
• Advanced proficiency with Python.
• Expertise with Snowflake and dbt.
• Strong experience with Apache Airflow.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services.
• Familiar with Meltano, Metabase, and Segment.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with blockchain data is highly desirable.
• Passion for blockchain/gaming industry.
