We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to lead the data engineering function at Catalant, designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers our product, AI/ML innovation, analytics, and reporting.

In Short

• Design, build, and optimize data architecture, pipelines, and warehouse.
• Collaborate with product engineers and AI/ML engineers.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Ensure high-quality data for AI/ML applications and reporting.
• Establish best practices for data quality and security.
• Document data standards and modeling patterns.
• Take ownership of projects from planning to execution.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms and data warehouse technologies.

• Expertise with data warehouse technologies (e.g., BigQuery, Databricks).
• Fluency in SQL.
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., dbt, Airflow).
• Experience integrating diverse data sources via APIs.
• Understanding of data modeling and optimization.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud preferred).
• Ability to partner effectively across teams.
• Ability to take ownership and set direction for data engineering.
