In Short

Design and implement reliable, secure, highly available services.
Work on complex systems using various programming languages and technologies.
Collaborate across multiple engineering teams and departments.
Mentor junior engineers on best practices and architectural decisions.
Balance speed of delivery with reliability and security.
Design micro-services and APIs.
Debug production issues at scale.
Uphold engineering best practices in all phases of SDLC.
Lead a group of engineers from inception to implementation.
Work asynchronously as part of a fully-remote team.

Requirements

8+ years of experience as a software engineer.
Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience designing micro-services and event-driven architecture.
Strong knowledge of observability and debugging.
Systematic problem-solving approach.
Strong communication skills.
Passion for engineering best practices.
Self-starter with leadership capabilities.
Experience in data analytics and transformation is a plus.
