Director of Solutions Architecture - Remote

Overview

dbt Labs is looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Solutions Architecture to lead our Solutions Architecture team for the Northeast Enterprise region. This role will be located in the Northeastern US (with a strong preference for NY metro area). This leadership role will involve growing and leading a team of Solutions Architects, to drive revenue growth and customer success.

In Short

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Solutions Architects
• Promote a collaborative, customer-obsessed culture within the team
• Partner with sales leadership to achieve regional quota targets, through value-based selling
• Guide our GTM strategy in the region by providing insight on sales strategy, product gaps, and advocating for your team’s needs
• Play an active role in sourcing and screening potential candidates to ensure that we maintain a high talent bar

Requirements

• Live in the Northeastern US (preferably NY metro area) and are willing to work east coast hours
• 7+ years of industry experience in a pre-sales capacity with 3+ years of direct front line management experience (recruiting, ramping, and retaining top talent)
• Industry experience across data warehousing, analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or data science
• Proven track record in driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets in fast-paced environments
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience through work experience
