Senior Packaging Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Packaging Engineer will develop new packaging concepts for existing products and new product launches, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project goals in terms of cost, quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

In Short

• Design and test packaging solutions for medical devices.
• Develop new package designs based on material properties and device design.
• Conduct preliminary testing of new package designs.
• Provide technical support to operations and engineering functions.
• Participate in team meetings and process improvement initiatives.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Purchasing, Marketing, and Sales.
• Travel may be required (<10%).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field plus five years relevant experience.
• Experience working with materials used in medical device packaging.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, sterilization methods, and quality systems.
• Ability to lead and contribute to interdisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Previous experience in a GMP environment preferred.
