Overview

The Lead Field Service Technician provides post-sale technical support to ensure optimal performance of equipment and deliver exceptional customer service.

In Short

  • Lead projects and serve as the first line of support for customer communications.
  • Accountable for daily customer data submissions.
  • Extensive travel to customer locations is required.
  • Provide onsite and phone support services including installation and troubleshooting.
  • Execute complex equipment and software installations.
  • Maintain high standards of product support quality documentation.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through the entire customer life cycle.
  • Implement effective logistics and knowledge tools to improve response times.
  • Ability to lift and transfer up to 70 lbs.
  • Weekend and overtime hours may be required.

Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent field service experience (3-5 years).
  • Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn detailed product knowledge of medical devices.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Background in biomedical, networking, military, or technician roles is desired.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.
  • Comfort with troubleshooting Microsoft applications.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team.
