Cost Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Cost Accounting Manager provides Financial/Accounting support for the BD DS business, specifically for the Mebane, NC and Grayson, GA facilities, ensuring accurate product costs and compliance with financial reporting standards.

In Short

• Oversee planning, reporting, and analysis of Standard Product Costing.
• Maintain fixed assets and calculate reserves appropriately.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the Plant Manager and leadership team.

• Assist internal and external auditors with financial records review.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant accounting/finance experience in manufacturing.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA, MBA, or CMA preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to improve financial controls.
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting.
