The Provider Practice Coding Consultant role is an opportunity to make a significant impact in the field of medical coding. You will provide essential consulting services and educational support, guiding healthcare professionals on improved coding practices.

• Attend mandatory sponsored in-service and educational meetings.
• Adhere to the American Health Information Management Association's code of ethics.

Requirements

• 1+ year of profee coding experience.
• AHIMA certified credentials or AAPC certified credentials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, adeptness in remote work, and exceptional time management skills.
• Experience in computerized encoding and abstracting software.
• Required to take and pass annual Introductory HIPAA examination.
