Learning Experience Designer (Part-Time Contract) - Remote

Overview

The data.world team is looking for a Learning Experience Designer (Part-Time Contract) to join us as we build and scale our Education and Training program! This role will help develop and scale our budding Education & Training program by creating best-in-class training resources and videos that allow customers to quickly use and adopt our SaaS platform that’s modernizing how organizations use data.

In Short

• Build and maintain a catalog of product and thought-leadership focused video content
• Create curriculum resources for use with customers by both internal and external teams
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to distill technical information into terms that non-technical users can understand and implement
• Work within an LMS to publish and manage content

Requirements

• 3+ years of building learning resources within SaaS, data catalog software, or adjacent fields
• A demonstrated ability to utilize a variety of audience learning requirements and tailor content as needed
• Hands-on experience or a strong understanding of accessibility standards (such as WCAG 2.0)
• Excellent design skills using Adobe creative suite, including Premiere Pro and Illustrator, and Canva
• Experience with the Videate video development software (or similar)
• The ability to self-manage projects and workload while collaborating with technical teams
• Approaches ambiguity with a positive, “can-do” attitude
• The ability to collaborate with leadership to articulate capacity planning
• Proficiency with Mac, Google Docs, and Slack
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and visual communication skills
