At data.world, we’re building the world’s most intuitive and intelligent data catalog and governance platform. We’re seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead our efforts in expanding and enhancing metadata collection and lineage capabilities.

In Short

• Define and drive the product strategy and roadmap for metadata collection and lineage.
• Lead discovery efforts to identify new opportunities for growth.
• Conduct competitive analysis to identify differentiation opportunities.
• Ensure metadata and lineage features are intuitive and impactful.
• Lead enablement efforts for sales, services, and partners.
• Collaborate with services and technology partnership teams.
• Act as a trusted partner with the engineering manager.
• Work with design and documentation teams to deliver features.
• Work with marketing to craft compelling messaging.
• Act as a technical resource for the sales team.

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) in technical product management.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with diverse teams.
• Strong understanding of data engineering workflows and tools.
• Skilled in gathering insights from users and stakeholders.
• Experience balancing technical complexity with user-centric design.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Strategic problem-solver with a focus on achieving shared goals.
• Collaborative and adaptable.
