Event Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Event Specialist is responsible for supporting the Event Operations team in developing, organizing, and executing a wide array of deliverables in conjunction with multiple events within the CDO Magazine portfolio each year.

In Short

• Support Event Operations team with event logistics.
• Coordinate print assets for events.
• Manage housing needs for events.
• Facilitate communications with sponsors and speakers.
• Lead registration process for multiple events.
• Track and report registration statistics.
• Work on technology/process improvements.
• Travel to approximately 5-7 events each year.
• Collaborate with marketing for event promotion.
• Provide exceptional customer experience for attendees.

Requirements

• 3-5 years event experience in the meetings & events industry.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience with Bizzabo and HubSpot is a plus.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Innovative mindset for improving events.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High degree of professionalism and initiative.
