Senior Data Architect - Healthcare - Remote

Overview

The Sr. Data Architect role will be a Contract to Hire Role and will play a pivotal role in integrating diverse data sources into production-ready data models to support organizational goals. This position demands strong collaboration with business and technical teams to align with business strategies and objectives, ensuring requirements are fulfilled throughout the entire data and analytics lifecycle.

In Short

• Gather and understand business and technical requirements, translating them into actionable data architecture plans.
• Design and implement multidimensional and tabular data models to support analytics initiatives.
• Define and enforce best practices for database design, ETL/ELT development, and optimization.
• Lead and direct the development of ETL processes, ensuring adherence to optimization and scheduling best practices.
• Create architectural designs to guide solution development across systems, applications, and processes.
• Document solution architecture and perform design and analysis work to achieve business objectives.
• Collaborate across teams to drive business impact through technical solutions, aligning infrastructure and solutions with business success metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 7+ years of relevant experience or 11+ years of total experience.
• Proven experience in roles such as Data Architect, Data Scientist, or Data Analyst, with mandatory experience in healthcare or insurance services.
• Expertise in data warehousing, data architecture, data vault, and business intelligence.
• Cloud-based project implementation experience (Microsoft Azure, Snowflake preferred).
• Knowledge of data pipelines and modern data platforms.
