Senior QA Automation Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with solid experience in test automation with Java, who can also execute manual testing when the context requires it.

In Short

• Collaborate closely with developers and cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development cycle.
• Design, automate and execute test cases for APIs and services (REST/OpenAPI, GraphQL, SOAP).
• Develop and maintain automation suites using Java with Serenity or RestAssured.
• Implement BDD frameworks using Gherkin / Cucumber.
• Execute manual testing when automation is not viable or during exploratory and regression stages.
• Perform service-level testing and functional validations.
• Validate data integrity through database testing using Oracle SQL.
• Create and execute API tests using Postman.
• Analyze testing results, report defects clearly, and follow up on their resolution.
• Continuously improve test coverage, automation stability, and QA processes.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a Senior QA Automation Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience in test automation with Serenity or RestAssured.
• Implementation of BDD with Gherkin / Cucumber.
• Experience in testing APIs and backend services (REST/OpenAPI, GraphQL, SOAP).
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with Oracle databases.
• Use of Postman for API testing.
• Experience in automated regressions in DevOps environments (Jenkins).
• Good command of manual and exploratory testing methodologies.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum / Kanban).
