Python / Cloud Engineer - Remote

Overview

You will join the dedicated R&D teams in Cambridge that create and improve the products behind the company’s rapid growth. Our software engineers work across a wide variety of projects and with a diverse toolset, as part of the cloud security team, you will be responsible for developing integrations with cloud providers and technologies such as AWS, Azure and Kubernetes to find out what asset’s clients have deployed in their cloud, how these are connected, and which are vulnerable to attack.

In Short

• Contributing to rapid prototyping of new and innovative ideas to further improve Darktrace’s services and offerings.
• Improving the performance and competencies of existing products and platforms.
• Investigating and furthering our unique methodology in defending against unknown cyber-attacks.
• Working a minimum of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office.
• Encouraging creativity in approach as much as traditional project-based development.

Requirements

• Ability to program using Python and understanding of writing code in a production environment.
• Ability to lead features from conception to deployment.
• Comfortable working autonomously and taking independent decisions.
• Able to show knowledge or interest in cyber-security / malware forensics.
• Familiar with Docker.
• Knowledgeable about cloud computing environments would be beneficial.
