Overview

We’re seeking a highly-organized and data driven leader for our Growth Marketing team at Spice.

This role’s mission is firmly fixed on client retention, which is primarily a function of service excellence, streamlined operations, employee happiness, and at the beginning, jumping in when needed to plug holes with IC work.

You are the leader of Spice’s “product” — which is our platform of services. You are responsible to overseeing everything post-sale from our operations team.

This requires a 30-day, 90-day, and 12-month view:

  • 30-day → What are the current existential threats / urgent churn risks?

  • 90-day → What are the most important process updates / new service roll-outs?

  • 12-month → What is the future state of our service architecture in order to adapt to market needs?

In Short

  • Lead the Growth Marketing team focused on client retention.
  • Oversee operations post-sale and ensure service excellence.
  • Manage Growth Managers and Retention Associates.
  • Utilize data to drive decision-making and strategy.
  • Implement new processes to enhance service quality.
  • Support team members in client strategy and reporting.
  • Monitor key performance indicators related to client satisfaction.
  • Ensure effective onboarding for new employees and clients.
  • Conduct regular meetings to align team efforts.
  • Foster a remote-first culture with a strong community.

Requirements

  • Experience in growth marketing and managing paid media campaigns.
  • Proficient in B2C email marketing tools (Klaviyo, Mailchimp).
  • Knowledge of marketplace storefront optimization.
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to derive insights.
  • Highly organized with excellent project management skills.
  • Familiarity with restaurant tech platforms.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in client operations management.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
