Overview

The Pre-Sales Consultant is responsible for understanding the approved Wavenet technical portfolio and client requirements in order to produce proposals and quotes in response to a defined scope from customers and partners.

In Short

  • Understand scope to propose suitable solutions from the portfolio.
  • Prepare proposals for approval through the Wavenet bid review process.
  • Draft technical design and solution description documentation.
  • Assist in production of bids, proposals, and tender responses.
  • Collaborate with technical specialists for multi-discipline solutions.
  • Follow internal governance process for solution and cost sign off.
  • Prepare presentations for client meetings.
  • Support creation of pricing schedules for contract submission.
  • Maintain and grow appropriate skills through training.
  • Review Wavenet Security Policies for compliance.

Requirements

  • Experience in the UK IT Services market.
  • Understanding of industry best practices.
  • Knowledge of customer environments and solution designs.
  • Experience in proposal documentation and technical bid responses.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Team player with virtual team collaboration experience.
  • Flexibility with working hours to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.
  • Appropriate technical qualifications.
