Cloud Lead Architect - Remote

Overview

The Cloud Lead Architect role is responsible for leading a team of Cloud Solution Architects, ensuring the successful and efficient delivery of projects and Professional Services to Wavenet’s internal and external customers.

In Short

• Lead and coordinate design and delivery activities.
• Ensure adherence to technological features in low-level designs.
• Deliver customer-facing projects following best practices.
• Provide technical support to sales teams.
• Manage technical evaluation of new Cloud products.
• Drive culture change and integration across departments.
• Establish service and solution design standards.
• Manage risks and dependencies for customer services.
• Support recruitment and training of new team members.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety policies.

Requirements

• Experience in designing and automating solutions on Public and Private Cloud platforms.
• Strong experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, VMware, and Hyper-V.
• Leadership experience in a Managed Service Provider or large enterprise.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage technical teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of Agile, ITIL, and Prince2 methodologies.
• Security Clearance (SC) mandatory.
• Certifications like AZ-305, MS-100/101, VCP, MCSE desirable.
