DBSO Director, Lean - Remote

Overview

The DBSO Director, Lean is responsible for promoting and facilitating the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS) at Danaher companies, allowing those sites to meet their Policy Deployment (PD) and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets.

In Short

• Accelerate results in SQDC by leveraging DBS tools.
• Assist OpCo and site leadership in developing a DBS roadmap.
• Provide formal and informal DBS training and mentoring.
• Participate in L1 or L2 PD reviews.
• Facilitate DBS training sessions as needed.
• Promote and facilitate diagnosis of workflow impediments.
• Improve DBS training and facilitation skills.
• Support DBS learning through self-help tools.
• Evaluate and approve candidates for CP and ACP.
• Travel requirement of up to 75% of the time.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Operations or Engineering Leadership experience.
• BS or BA Degree in Engineering or Business required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Experience at Plant Manager / Director of Operations level or higher.
• Ability to assess key business metrics from a general manager’s perspective.
• Familiarity with various manufacturing process technologies.
• Hands-on experience implementing DBS in a line leader role.
• Superior communication, mentoring, and influencing skills.
• Proficiency in time and project management.
• Good writing and administrative skills.
