Manager of Event Operations - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a passionate, collaborative, and results-driven manager with experience in organizing conferences, events, or trade shows to join our Channel team. In this role, you will work closely with the Chief Evangelist of Community and Channel to drive the success of Cynomi's channel strategies. In Short

• Oversee the execution, and management of event and sponsorship offerings, ensuring efficient product delivery and inventory management
• Implement and execute Cynomi’s channel engagement strategies to foster growth and strengthen relationships
• Collaborate with leadership on strategic projects, identifying key initiatives that align with company goals
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with partners, channel members, and the MSP community, promoting long-term partnerships and growth
• Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of events
• Manage event venues, catering services, and entertainment
• Capture and track leads during events to drive business opportunities
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and other departments
• Represent the company as a spokesperson for speaking engagements
• 60% travel, 40% remote work flexibility

Requirements

• Passionate about delivering a world-class experience for prospects and partners at events
• Proven track record in event management and execution
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong documentation skills
• Outstanding customer service skills
• Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed
• Available to work nights and weekends as required
• Experience in digital and social media marketing is a plus
