Operating Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Operating Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems for assigned properties. This role includes performing routine assessments, preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

• Perform plumbing, electrical, and HVAC requirements of buildings.
• Maintain heating equipment, chillers, and air distribution systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Appropriate licenses/permits for trade.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of energy management systems.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work extended hours or shifts as needed.
