Overview

The Lead Operating Engineer is responsible for ensuring the efficient operations and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in the assigned facility, often working independently.

• Conduct daily operations and maintenance of building systems.
• Supervise maintenance staff and assign tasks.
• Perform preventive maintenance duties.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Licenses/permits for trade as required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good record.
• Basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.
• Knowledge in energy management systems.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Technical proficiency in building systems operations.
