Overview

The Estate Manager is responsible for managing the Property Management staff and overseeing a significant portfolio of properties, ensuring high standards of service and effective third-party relationships.

In Short

  • Coordinate site-based teams for apartment buildings and estate areas.
  • Work with Residential Engagement Manager to maintain service standards.
  • Manage third-party contractors for service delivery.
  • Conduct property inspections adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Handle owner and occupant queries related to building matters.
  • Set and analyze service charge budgets for board approval.
  • Attend management meetings and provide budget updates.
  • Ensure procurement procedures are followed for best pricing.
  • Stay informed about legislative changes and best practices.
  • Proficient in property management financial software.

Requirements

  • Third level qualification in Property, Surveying, Engineering, Hospitality or FM.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience managing third parties in an operations capacity.
  • Facilities management/construction experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of property management financial software (Blockman, Yardi, Building Link).
  • Hold a PSRA D Licence or relevant qualification.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Understanding of BMS systems and M&E plant.
  • Experience managing a campus with phased completion.
