Overview

The Assistant Facility Manager supports the facilities organization at a specific location, ensuring the day-to-day operations of the facility are managed effectively and in alignment with client goals.

In Short

  • Support day-to-day operations of the facility.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and programs for workplace services.
  • Ensure maintenance and janitorial services are performed effectively.
  • Supervise maintenance programs and respond to tenant requests.
  • Compile and complete site-specific documentation and reports.
  • Prepare budgets and financial reports related to the facility.
  • Monitor compliance with insurance requirements.
  • Conduct inspections of the facility and report findings.
  • Collaborate with Facility Manager on various tasks.
  • Maintain knowledge of management contracts and vendor agreements.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in facilities management or related field required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in facility management preferred.
  • Experience in maintenance, construction, and property operations.
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand construction specifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong financial management skills.
  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and leadership abilities.
