Sr. Director, External Research and Development Operations (Biologics) - Remote

Overview

The Senior Director will report to the VP of ERAD Operations and be responsible for helping ensure our portfolio companies have access to the absolute best vendors to support them in delivering on their seed milestones.

In Short

• Work closely with internal scientific teams and portfolio companies.
• Support vendor outreach processes including RFPs and negotiation.
• Manage CRO-associated agreements and execution.
• Communicate value propositions of CROs to stakeholders.
• Prepare technical evaluations to support CRO selections.
• Build long-term relationships with vendor partners.
• Develop processes for ERAD data collection and knowledge management.
• Design and improve infrastructure for operations.

Requirements

• PhD in Biology or related field with industry experience.
• 10 years in Alliance/Vendor/CRO Management.
• Experience in business development is advantageous.
• Familiarity with legal agreements in biopharmaceuticals.
• Experience in establishing scalable processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing geographically diverse partners.
• Ability to travel 10-40% of the time.
