Cloud FinOps Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Cloud FinOps Analyst will conduct high-level analysis of cloud cost data, developing and executing cost savings strategies while consulting with clients and managing vendor contracts.

In Short

• Analyze cloud data for cost optimization opportunities.
• Create and review cost optimization recommendations with clients.
• Drive cost savings through reserved instances or savings plans.
• Consult with clients as a cost optimization expert.
• Manage 3rd party Cloud vendor contracts.
• Work with the Accounting team on cloud billing data.
• Develop custom cost reports and alerts.
• Support onboarding of new clients.
• Present insights to senior management.
• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• 6 years of experience in a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and finance background.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with cloud cost management.
• Familiarity with SaaS technologies and cloud costing products.
• Experience with cloud billing systems (AWS or Azure).
