FinOps Analyst (5563) - Remote

Overview

As a FinOps Analyst, you’ll assist customer teams in understanding the FinOps methodology and provide guidance on how to mature the organization in the FinOps capabilities. You will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, visualizing, and optimizing IT costs and utilization for cloud, platform, commercial software, DevSecOps product and solutions.

In Short

• Develops and champions cloud infrastructure cost management best practices
• Partners with finance, procurement, & engineering teams to manage cloud infrastructure costs
• Builds analytical models for data-driven guidance on cloud infrastructure spend
• Creates utilization and forecasting models for predicting future cloud spend
• Maintains internal documentation on FinOps and cost optimization processes

Requirements

• Active DoD Secret security clearance
• 3+ years of experience with Azure, AWS, GCP and/or Oracle cloud services
• 2+ years of experience in a DoD or Federal Government environment
• Deep understanding of CSP FinOps tools
• Experience with relational databases and data analysis tools
• Understanding of Federal Government IT procurement processes
• Knowledge of industry best practices for Cloud resource tagging
