Career Coach - Remote

Overview

The Career Coach will provide career education for undergraduate and graduate students, supporting their self-exploration and career readiness skill development while engaging them with professionals to explore career options.

In Short

• Conduct one-on-one career coaching appointments.
• Present in classes with embedded career education components.
• Teach at least one career course per year.
• Conduct targeted outreach to graduating students.
• Collaborate with faculty and employers.
• Facilitate Career Launch cohorts among targeted student populations.
• Update materials and stay informed on recruiting trends.
• Review students’ Career-Ready Badge reflections.
• Maintain collegial and productive working relationships.
• Report to the Director of Career Education.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, or advising college students.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• Experience presenting career readiness programs.
• Strong project planning and execution skills.
• Knowledge of Career Development and Student Development Theories.
• Ability to use Microsoft 360 applications.
