In Short

  • Lead the Public Sector Solutions Engineering team, reinforcing sales methodology and metrics-led best practices.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship to SEs on pre-sales techniques for securing new clients and expanding within existing customers.
  • Continually assess and develop the technical capabilities of each team member.
  • Provide periodic performance reviews and personal/professional development opportunities.
  • Partner with Regional Sales Directors to achieve revenue targets.
  • Deliver customer presentations and oversee SE-led Proof of Value events.
  • Identify problem areas and formulate relevant solutions.
  • Work across many time zones, occasionally outside standard hours.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of successfully leading a technical pre-sales region.
  • Background in selling to the US Federal Government.
  • Ability to teach SEs consultative selling methodologies.
  • Experience executing sales plays with an SE team.
  • Effective communication skills with executive-level customers.
  • Experience building technical champions within customers.
  • Proven self-starter with a motivated attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Active Clearances and history of success in government verticals.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent AND 3-5 years of pre-sales experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.
  • Strong preference for candidates with Security and/or DevOps background.
