Manager, Technical Accounting & Reporting - Remote

Overview

Cresco Labs is seeking a Manager, Technical Accounting and Reporting to join our corporate finance team. This individual will report to the Senior Manager, Technical Accounting and Reporting and be a key contributor in technical accounting research, assisting with new accounting guidance implementation, directing accounting policies, and working on projects across multiple departments.

In Short

• Manage complex accounting areas including revenue recognition, leases, loyalty programs, and financial instruments.
• Assess the impact of new accounting guidance and assist in the adoption of new accounting standards (U.S. GAAP).
• Lead technical accounting research for unusual transactions and new contracts.
• Maintain and issue accounting policies and trainings.
• Lead quarterly and annual impairment analysis of goodwill and intangible assets.
• Participate in ad hoc technical accounting research and special projects.
• 5+ years accounting experience required.
• Active CPA license required.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and research skills.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or business with accounting concentration.
• Strong interpersonal skills and consistent follow through on assigned tasks.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems required; Intacct or BPC a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office required.
• Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner.
