Technical Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

Foodsmart is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Accounting Manager to contribute to our accounting operations, lead the audit process, ensure compliance with GAAP, assist with the ERP migration, and support strategic financial planning.

In Short

• Oversee and manage general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Develop and implement accounting policies.
• Coordinate and support the external audit.
• Manage and mentor accounting staff.
• Analyze financial data to support business decision-making.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with financial legal requirements.
• Support tax preparation and filing.

Requirements

• Active CPA license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Excellent proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
