Senior Clinical Coding Auditor & Trainer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Clinical Coding Auditor & Trainer will support inpatient-coding audit and training initiatives, combining coding precision, clinical expertise, and mentorship capabilities.

In Short

• Develop and maintain inpatient-coding audit processes and training materials.
• Conduct coding education and compliance training for staff.
• Audit inpatient records for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve coding errors.
• Evaluate audit and training program effectiveness.
• Participate in limited travel (approx. 10% annually).

Requirements

• Active RN license + CPC, CIC, or CCS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of nursing, auditing, or training experience in managed care.
• Proven ability to present, coach, and write effectively.
• Prior inpatient-coding audit experience strongly preferred.
