Field Services Engineer - FACTS - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an enterprising and motivated service engineer in power electronics who can manage service contracts, site activities, and support/participate in commissioning of FACTS & HVDC equipment.

In Short

• Manage service contracts and site activities for FACTS & HVDC equipment.
• Perform commissioning activities on FACTS or HVDC transmission systems.
• Attend and lead customer meetings to identify solutions.
• Support ITO team during calls for tenders.
• Technical expertise in switchgear and harmonic filters.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and share knowledge.
• Travel availability up to 50-70%.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong engineering background in power electronics.
• Experience with FACTS or HVDC equipment.
• Technical expertise in commissioning protection relays.
• Ability to resolve on-site incidents and analyze data.
• Good EHS skills, especially on-site during incidents.
• Notions of project management.
• Strong customer management skills.
• Ability to document, report, and execute programs.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems.
