Financial Analyst III - Remote

Overview

The Financial Analyst III position is responsible for developing, analyzing, monitoring, and presenting budgets and financial reports for the Brown School.

In Short

• Develop and monitor budgets adhering to university requirements.
• Create customized financial reports tailored to operational needs.
• Prepare and deliver monthly budget analysis reports.
• Analyze income and expenses, identifying efficiency opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Provide guidance and training to department personnel.
• Prepare budget packages for senior management review.
• Reconcile accounts for accuracy.
• Work with university finance to address financial issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• 3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Preferred: M.B.A. or CPA certification.
• 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
• Experience with financial reporting systems.
• Skills in budgeting and forecasting.
• Ability to present financial information effectively.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
