Overview

The Data Analyst position within WashU's Division of Student Affairs focuses on curating and analyzing data to enhance the student experience, informing policies and advising university leadership.

In Short

• Support data collection and organization throughout the student lifecycle.
• Verify accuracy and validity of collected data.
• Analyze and present data findings.
• Utilize statistics and predictive modeling for data interpretation.
• Compile quarterly reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with campus colleagues on key programs.
• Create process documentation and operation manuals.
• Engage with behavioral scientists on analytic strategies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in higher education is preferred.
• Knowledge of relational databases and data management.
• Experience with large data sets and statistical analysis.
• Familiarity with visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
