Senior Backend Engineer - Remote

Overview

CoW DAO is on a mission to protect Ethereum users from the dangers of DeFi. As a member of CoW DAO’s core team, you will have the opportunity to shape essential products and contribute to the Ethereum ecosystem.

In Short

• Fully remote team with a preference for candidates in Europe or +/- 4 hours CEST time.
• Position is a full-time contractor role.
• Focus on building decentralized trading protocols.
• Work on backend services and developer-facing APIs.
• Collaborate with researchers and product teams.
• Deliver high-quality code and maintain existing features.
• Participate in code reviews and share expertise.
• Work with a tech stack including Rust, Solidity, and AWS.

Requirements

• 1+ years of production experience with Rust.
• Strong computer science and programming skills.
• Experience in web3, especially DeFi and Ethereum.
• Ability to architect complex software systems.
• Commitment to code quality and observability.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience mentoring colleagues is a plus.
• Excitement for exploring Ethereum technologies.
