Backend Developer Intern - Remote

Overview

We’re looking for people energized by backend development to contribute to one of the following teams: Infrastructure or Sources, focusing on innovative projects and improving user experience.

In Short

• Contribute to backend development in Infrastructure or Sources teams.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings to track project progress.
• Take ownership of projects and engage in coding tasks.
• Shadow a coach to learn and ask questions.
• Collaborate with multiple developers across teams.
• Work on improving monitoring, security, and infrastructure.
• Review feedback from code reviews to enhance skills.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Software Engineering or Computer Science program.
• Completed an internship in a similar role.
• Experience with Python, Java, Go, and an interest in infrastructure for the Infrastructure team.
• Experience with Java and unit testing for the Sources team.
• Strong sense of ownership and pride in work.
• Willingness to grow and ask questions.
