Staff Security Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Join the Product Security Engineering team at Coupang.
• Implement various security activities related to SDL and DevSecOps.
• Responsible for tuning security scanning tools and improving scanning results.
• Design application security metrics and implement security automation.
• Participate in application security training design and implementation.
• Review security features of applications for proper implementation.
• Provide remediation guidelines for vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with various teams in Information Security, Risk, and Development.
• Work with global teams across different time zones.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Information Security required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Good understanding of application risks/vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10, CWE Top 25).
• Experience in designing and building application security solutions.
• Experience in reviewing and implementing application security features.
• Experience with AST and SCA tools.
• Experience in security integration of CI/CD.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python or Java.
• Strong communication skills in English.
