As a Senior DevOps Engineer on the Observability team at Coupa, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing observability strategies to enhance the performance and reliability of our systems.

In Short

Design and maintain observability strategies for systems and applications.
Implement and migrate to a consolidated observability platform.
Collaborate with teams to create monitoring and alerting solutions.
Onboard complex data sources to observability tools.
Define actionable and understandable alerts.
Create standards and best practice documentation.
Utilize cloud technologies like AWS or Azure.
Work with programming languages such as Ruby, Go, Java, or Python.
Build and run full-stack cloud applications.
Contribute to a collaborative and innovative work culture.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in a DevOps role focusing on observability.
Experience with large-scale web operations.
Proficient in Ruby, Go, Java, Python, or similar languages.
Familiarity with technologies like New Relic, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
2+ years of experience with AWS or Azure.
Experience in creating custom dashboards and alerts.
Understanding of networking systems and protocols.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
