Senior Cloud Engineer | Observability - Remote

Overview

At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. Our Observability Team is responsible for improving, building, scaling and operating all our infrastructure for metrics, logging and tracing.

In Short

• Building a globally distributed, centralized logging infrastructure for over 8000 virtual machines and more than 80 000 services
• Building a monitoring stack for >100 million active time series with one year data retention
• Operating a centralized logs and trace analysis service

Requirements

• Min. of 3 years experience with continuous integration tools and techniques (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo, Github actions)
• Experience building and maintaining cloud native services as AWS
• Experience with containerization concepts and Kubernetes
• Min. of 3 years experience as a power user of various operating systems (e.g. MacOS, Linux, Shell scripting)
• Min. of 3 years experience in a current programming language (e.g. Java, Python, Golang)
• Min. of 3 years experience using source control management tools (e.g. Git, Subversion)
• Experience with infrastructure as code techniques (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
