Regional Transportation & Logistics Manager - Remote

Overview

The Regional Transportation & Logistics Manager will drive delivery execution excellence and improve financial performance across a multi-site logistics network. This role demands a self-directed leader who independently drives change and delivers results across a complex, matrixed logistics network. You will play a key role in transforming delivery performance, reducing cost-to-serve, and enabling scalable logistics solutions in alignment with business goals.

In Short

• Drive Delivery Performance: Ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery across the region by identifying gaps, optimizing transportation planning, and driving executional rigor.
• Lead Through Influence: Align cross-functional stakeholders around common goals and accountability without direct authority.
• Cost and Financial Performance: Monitor and analyze regional transportation spend, identify cost-saving opportunities, and execute logistics strategies.
• Carrier & 3PL Management: Partner with third-party carriers and logistics providers to manage performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Performance Monitoring & Analytics: Use KPIs and dashboards to drive data-informed decisions and improve service reliability.
• Problem Solving & Escalation: Act as the point of contact for escalated delivery issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to transportation regulations and internal logistics policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct reporting lines.
• Strong analytical skills with experience using transportation management systems (TMS) and ERP tools.
• Deep understanding of carrier operations and distribution network dynamics.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to travel regionally as needed (up to 50%).
