Manager Logistics and Transportation for PTE - Remote

Overview

The position involves managing the logistics and supply chain strategy for the company across Europe, focusing on efficiency and cost reduction.

In Short

• Responsible for the overall logistics and supply chain management strategy at a European level.
• Coordinate with relevant departments for demand-based alignment and knowledge transfer.
• Optimize logistics processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
• Strategic planning and management of logistics, warehousing, transport, and customer service.
• Lead, optimize, and coordinate the entire order cycle.
• Collaborate and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
• Maintain oversight of quality, quantity, inventory, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency.
• Organize warehousing, catalog goods, plan routes, and process shipments.
• Resolve any issues or complaints that arise.
• Supervise, coach, and train warehouse staff.

Requirements

• Completed studies in logistics, business administration, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in transport management, warehousing logistics, and supply chain management on a European level.
• Experience in team leadership and developing processes for efficiency improvement.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.
• Product knowledge is desirable.
• Proficient in modern logistics software, SAP/LFS, and MS Office.
• Fluent in German and English is essential.
