Operations Data Project Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Operations Data Project Engineer will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for MES systems across multiple locations, focusing on troubleshooting, standardization, and improvement of operational procedures.

In Short

• Become the SME for MES systems in 5 locations.
• Troubleshoot and standardize MES systems and data.
• Utilize PLCs, Windows Servers, Virtual Machines, and Micro PCs.
• Develop and improve SSRS reports and Power BI dashboards.
• Manage MES projects including budget and engineering deliverables.
• Collaborate with third-party programmers for system improvements.
• Train plant management on new MES features.
• Prepare data analytics for process stability and improvements.
• Assist with equipment data improvements and system integrations.
• Participate in maintaining a safe and orderly work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Five to eight years of experience in engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of SQL, SSRS, and Power BI.
• Understanding of PLC and HMI programming.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work.
• Automation knowledge and experience is highly desired.
• Willingness to travel 25% or more.
