Cost Accounting Systems Analyst - Remote

Overview

The role is responsible for providing financial system and accounting support to our Apertures – U.S. organization and will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the implementation of an enterprise resource planning system (“ERP”) from an accounting, finance and operations perspective, including the development of accurate financial reporting and compliance with Cornerstone Building Brands’ policies. This role will have a significant impact on the organization's financial performance and growth.

In Short

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for ERP integration and roll-out.
• Support ERP project from accounting and financial reporting perspective.
• Implement new processes and controls for finance system.
• Work with auditors to provide documentation.
• Lead change to resolve data issues and improve processes.
• Ensure accuracy of month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop reports for accounting and operational management.
• Diagnose data quality issues and communicate solutions.
• Assist in training workshops for ERP operation.
• Travel to various manufacturing facilities as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (U.S. GAAP).
• Experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with JDE E1 is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
