Test Engineer / QA - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded Test Engineer / QA for our client in Switzerland.

In Short

• Planning, development, and execution of manual and automated tests to ensure software quality
• Analysis of requirements and specifications to identify potential sources of errors
• Creation and maintenance of test cases, test plans, and test documentation
• Execution of regression tests, performance, and load tests
• Identification, documentation, and tracking of defects in the bug tracking system
• Collaboration with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders for continuous optimization of testing processes
• Support in the implementation and further development of test automation strategies
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards and best practices

Requirements

• Completed studies in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in software testing, test automation, and quality assurance
• Knowledge of testing methods, frameworks, and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Postman, JIRA, etc.)
• Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript (advantageous)
• Understanding of agile development processes (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices
• High quality awareness, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Team player, strong communication skills, and independent working style
• Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
