Senior SAP BusinessObjects Specialist - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded Senior SAP BusinessObjects Specialist for our client in the banking sector in St. Gallen.

In Short

• Technical support for upgrading the SAP BusinessObjects platform (from version 4.3 to 2025)
• Optimization and modernization of existing reporting structures, especially BO universes and Web Intelligence Reports (WebI)
• Administration and operation of the BusinessObjects platform including user and rights management
• Use of the BusinessObjects SDK (Java) and RESTful WebService for automation and enhancement of BO functionalities
• Development and maintenance of data models with the Information Design Tool (IDT)
• Performance analysis and implementation of optimization measures at the database and report level
• Close collaboration with departments to gather and implement reporting requirements

Requirements

• Expertise in the setup, administration, and operation of the SAP BusinessObjects platform
• Very good knowledge in the use of the BusinessObjects SDK (Java) and RESTful WebService
• In-depth knowledge of the Information Design Tool (IDT)
• Excellent SQL skills for data modeling, queries, and optimizations
• Very good communication skills, team orientation, and cooperative working
• Assertiveness in technical discussions
• Goal-oriented, structured, and independent working style
• Resilience and flexibility in challenging tasks
• Fluency in German
