Senior IT Business Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and technically skilled IT Business Analyst for our client in the insurance sector in Bern. In the context of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework), the Business Analyst is part of an interdisciplinary agile team that further develops the contract management processes.

In Short

• Support business areas in creating requirement specifications for solutions considering technical system requirements
• Analyze business processes, organizational structures, and technology, identifying weaknesses
• Detail business requirements from features in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
• Document requirements and expectations from organizational units in their implementation projects
• Translate business requirements into ICT requirements for development teams
• Develop and document solution proposals and decision bases based on captured requirements
• Prepare quality assurance measures according to specified requirements
• Communicate and coordinate results with internal and external stakeholders
• Support technical analysis of incidents and communicate with end users

Requirements

• A degree and/or further education in business administration, business informatics, computer science, or a similar field
• Over 7 years of experience in business analysis and requirements engineering in the IT environment
• Experience as a Business Analyst or developer in an object-oriented programming/microservice environment is an advantage
• Experience with SAFe, agile development, UML, SQL, and modern solution architecture is a plus
• Ideally, prior knowledge in the insurance sector
• Strong technical affinity

• Fluent in German, good English skills are an advantage
