Data Engineer - CMDB - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced, motivated, and open-minded Data Engineer - CMDB for our client in the telecommunications sector in Zurich.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Utilize NoSQL databases for handling large amounts of configuration data.
• Integrate data from various sources into the CMDB using MuleSoft.
• Conduct data reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy.
• Develop and implement inventory data models based on the Common Information Model (CIM).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Ensure data integrity and availability.
• Document data processes and configurations for knowledge retention.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Data Engineering and data modeling.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python and Perl.
• Strong understanding of Service Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) principles.
• Deep knowledge of the Common Information Model (CIM).
• Solid experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Familiarity with container solutions like Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience with PL/SQL for database operations.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Practical experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
• Strong data reconciliation and data quality management skills.
