Data Engineer - CMDB - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a very experienced, motivated and open-minded Data Engineer - CMDB for our client in the telecommunications industry.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Apache Airflow.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL queries and stored procedures for data manipulation.
• Utilize NoSQL databases for handling large volumes of configuration data.
• Integrate data into the CMDB using MuleSoft and other platforms.
• Conduct data reconciliation to ensure data accuracy.
• Develop inventory data models based on the Common Information Model (CIM).
• Design and implement ETL processes for the CMDB.
• Collaborate with teams to understand data requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
• Document data processes and configurations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data engineering and data modeling.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Perl.
• Strong understanding of SACM principles.
• In-depth knowledge of the Common Information Model (CIM).
• Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration.
• Knowledge of Container Solutions like Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience with PL/SQL.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, e.g., MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with MuleSoft.
• Strong data reconciliation and quality management skills.
